2010 UCR enforcement date was July 15, 2010. Enforcement agencies will now access your USDOT number and that database will indicate whether you are current for UCR filings. If the authorities find that you are not in compliance, you will be subjected to a fine on top of the payment to bring your UCR up to date. The amount of the fines can vary from state to state, but there’s no question that they will be substantial.
2290 TAX or Federal Highway Use Tax (Form 2290) is due and must be filed and paid no later than August 31, 2010.
TCS hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am to noon.
